Untamed is hiring a part-time retail associate.
We're looking for someone friendly, dependable, organized, and ready to take initiative. Retail experience is preferred, but it is not required. We can teach the right person our products, brand, store procedures, and apparel-printing process.
We don't expect you to know everything on your first day. We do expect you to be curious, observant, positive, and willing to learn.
Position Details
- Starting pay: $14 per hour
- Part-time position
- Store hours: Tuesday–Saturday, 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
- Scheduling will depend on the needs of the store
- Occasional help with special events, including the Soldotna Mall Market
What We're Looking For—and What You'll Do
We're looking for someone dependable, positive, organized, and willing to take initiative. In this role, you will:
- Welcome customers, answer questions, and help them find what they need
- Learn about Untamed, our products, and our brand so you can make helpful recommendations
- Operate the register, count change, and handle transactions accurately
- Restock merchandise and keep the store clean, organized, and inviting
- Notice what needs to be done and stay productive without constant direction
- Create and publish social media content every store day, including clear product photos, short videos, and accurate captions
- Learn and consistently follow Untamed's established brand voice and social media guidelines
- Check spelling, prices, dates, and product information before posting
- Accept feedback and revise content when needed
- Take clear notes, communicate well, and leave complete messages
- Solve everyday customer and store problems calmly and responsibly
- Learn how to print Untamed apparel
- Help with the Soldotna Mall Market and other special events
- Be honest and trustworthy with cash, inventory, store access, and social media accounts
- As you learn the Untamed brand and our customers, help identify and recommend products that would be a good fit for the store
Daily Social Media Requirement
Daily social media posting is a required part of this position.
The employee must be willing and able to create and publish content during scheduled shifts on each day the store is open. This may include taking clear product photos or short videos, writing captions, promoting products and events, and checking spelling, prices, dates, and product information before posting.
Untamed's brand voice and social media guidelines will be provided. Before receiving access to Untamed's accounts, the employee will be asked to create sample posts to demonstrate that they understand the brand and expectations.
Experience
Retail or customer-service experience is preferred, but it is not required. A strong work ethic, good people skills, reliability, and a genuine willingness to learn matter most.
